Description Vincent Noel 2005-07-21 15:34:47 UTC
Allow the display of files in the side pane tree view (in the preferences), then
click on one of these files (in the tree view).

You'll get the following error message :
title "Can't display location"
message "Couldn't display $FILE"

That message is not very well worded. Especially, I think the two contractions
are discouraged by the HIG (it should read "Cannot display location" and "Could
not display $FILE").

The fact that you get an error message is bug #311107.

Is this still an issue in 2.22?
Comment 2 A. Walton 2008-07-16 16:47:44 UTC
I believe it is in 2.22, but sometime afterward Cosimo committed a patch removing contractions everywhere.

In fact, this bug is itself a duplicate of bug #145356 (which is now fixed). If this is not the case, we can reopen it. Thanks for reporting!
