I don't fully understand. I suppose you are talking about nautilus files browser ?

I cannot reproduce this issue since files are not displayed in the tree view,
only folders.

Can you try to reproduce the bug with a more recent version of nautilus and tell
us step by step how to reproduce this ?

Thank you for your time.
Comment 2 Vincent Noel 2005-07-21 15:31:20 UTC
I can reproduce.
Lionel : you have to go in the file preferences of nautilus, first pane
("Views"), bottom item : deselect "Show only folders". Then you'll see files in
the tree view. And indeed, when you select a file, you get "Couldn't display bla
bla bla, the location is not a folder".

Re-assigning to the right product.
