Description brian 2005-07-19 01:59:24 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I received an email from kodakgallery.com from a friend sharing their photos.
In the summary pane, I right click on the view photos button and select "Copy
Link Location". Even though the correct link is shown in the very bottom of the
window, the link to the image is put in the clipboard. When I paste it into a
browser window, I get a nice picture of the original button.

The same problem occurs for the photo in the email. Incidentally, the photo is
a broken image. But when I try to copy it's location, I get the URL of that
photo and not the login for kidakgallery.

The solution is to copy and paste the text from the "If you can't see the
link..." section of the email.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy Link Location into browser window
2.
3.

Actual results:
I see the wrong thing

Expected results:
I see the right thing

Does this happen every time?
Yes

rewriting the subject, since i had to read this two times to understand... :-)
Comment 2 Not Zed 2005-08-02 05:36:30 UTC
it should probsbly just say 'copy image location'.
Comment 3 C Shilpa 2005-10-19 08:58:06 UTC
replicable using evolution-2.2.3.0.200509090320-0.snap.novell.0.1. But works
fine with evolution-2.4.1.0.200510090310-0.snap.novell.0.1. Please upgrade
evolution to 2.4.x and reopen the bug if it is still replicable.
