Notification Area 2.10.1

1. go to panel properties
2. make background color transparent
3. make sure you have the notification area applet running

problem: the separator of the notification area doesn't seem to be transparent.

This might be a common gnome-panel problem, I don't know where the separator
widget comes from. Someone with more info please re-describe the problem. Thanks.
