We need to add support for assistive technologies.

Also see bug 99505.

Current plan is to:

* detect if accessibility is required
* automatically start a gdmflexiserver
* have user authenticate with GDM using atk tools
* GDM will switch back to the users session
* GDM will send a DBus message on the system bus
* gnome-screensaver will receive message and unlock screen
Comment 2 William Jon McCann 2006-07-31 18:25:15 UTC
Another option is to use the feature introduced in bug #347721.

Can someone please raise the priority/severity? We really need (at least) the onscreen keyboard to work to unlock the display because
- there are more and more tablets out there
- the fix from but 347721 no longer works.
Comment 6 William Jon McCann 2013-01-16 17:02:32 UTC
Handled by GDM/Shell now.
