Description Peter Colman 2005-03-18 13:14:38 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.8.0 2.0.4
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Title bar inbox display
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: UI
Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.4
Description:
Please describe your feature request:

Previous Evolution versions displayed the currently selected mailbox
(e.g. Inbox) in the titlebar, along with the number of new messages.
This was extremely useful when working on multiple desktops, because the
taskbar would show that you had new mail and you don't have to keep
shifting back to the evolution window to see if you have new mail.
Version 2.04 now just shows "Evolution - Mail" which is not so useful.

Perhaps an even better feature would be a configurable option to always
show your new mail count, even if the inbox is not selected. However,
the old way would be good enough.
