Description Johannes Berg 2004-10-01 10:42:21 UTC
After nick/email completion is done in the email lines (To,Cc,Bcc), it is
no longer possible to distinguish between the different email addresses for
a contact.

This problem is especially annoying when you click a ComboBoxEntry entry
and the list disappears instantly without first showing which email address
was selected.

A tooltip showing the email address (when hovering over a name) would be nice.

this isn't a bug, it's done this way on purpose (Outlook does it this
way an that's what users wanted).

that said, this can be considered an addressbook feature request.
Comment 2 Ramesh Babu 2004-10-28 11:45:11 UTC
in my opinion it should be configurable option.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2004-12-28 13:22:47 UTC
extremely related to bug 229384, only difference is that 29384 wants an
option and this one here wants a tooltip. gerardo, closing?
Comment 4 André Klapper 2005-03-24 16:22:44 UTC
closing this as a duplicate.
