GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 232830
No usable error message when accessing unconfigured GAL
Last modified: 2006-02-10 09:34:36 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: Since the GAL is in some ways now the default Contacts folder for Exchange users, there should be a better error message in the "Select Contacts from Addressbook" dialog if the GAL has not been configured ( IE. no server name entered ). Currently some text flashes below the the Address list in the Dialog, but it's virtually unreadable. Expected Results: An error message along the lines of "There is no GAL server defined in settings" would be nice. We are not past UI freeze. So moving this to 2.5
