Description lejon 2002-05-19 16:57:04 UTC
Description of Problem:

Spam is a SERIOUS problem worldwide. For a
professional e-mail client I think it is important
to have good possibilities to filter spam.

At the moment there are some possibilities to
filter on various conditions. A feature I would
like to the current filters is to CHECK IF THE
SENDER IS OR IS NOT IN MY ADDRESSBOOK and filter
on that.

Further it would be nice if there where an even
more powerful ways to filter mail, for instance a
plugin system for perl or some other scripting
language where I could write my own code for the
filtering, and maybe even interact with external
programs for the filtering such as looking up
against spam fighting sites or system on the net.
One posiblity is to integrate this in the regular
Evoluton too (not as a plugin system).

Regards
-Leif Jonsson
