Description Johannes Berg 2002-04-19 08:44:02 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.0
Synopsis: Contact List does not handle foreign characters such as ö (ö)
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]

Description:
Description of Problem:
When I try adding a name to a list that contains an umlaut, the name is
truncated and shows up very strange in the list when displayed in the
folder. In the Contact List Window its truncated.
When I correct it in the normal contact view, the name no longer shows
up in the list editor.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create a person with an umlaut in their name
2. try adding her/him to the list
