Description Charles Burns 2002-03-23 04:40:07 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Wishlist
Version: 1.0.2
Synopsis: Request: Change text colors from within Evolution
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous

Description:
Feature request:
The ability to change the foreground and background color of message
text, quoted text, and the text in the Email Subject List.
Reasons:
The default color (at least in RH7.2 with Ximian and Evo 1.02) of the
text in the Email Subject List. is black on dark blue when the message
is selected. This is almost impossible to read (and I have a good
monitor with contrast set very high).
Additionally, quoted text is difficult to read when using themes that
utilize a dark background color for text boxes.
I have read that these colors can be changed from within Gnome Control
Panel, but this is unintuative and may be difficult for KDE users who
just have GTK+ (and whatever else) installed to use Evolution (the
control panel would probably not be easy to find).
