GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 218720
Unclear which e-mail address is selected when multiple entries with same name are in addressbook
Last modified: 2004-04-15 18:47:47 UTC
Package: Evolution Priority: Wishlist Version: 1.0.1 Synopsis: Unclera which e-mail address is selected when multiple entries with same name are in addressbook Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Description: Description of Problem: In my Evolution addressbook I have at least one person with several different e-mail addresses. Which e-mail address is used depends on the subject matter of our communication. Unfortunately, it's relatively difficult to determine which e-mail address was selected if I type in this person's name and then click on one of her addresses. I *think* I clicked on the right one, but Evolution gives no way of determining that for sure until you've already sent your message. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have two or three different e-mail addresses under the same name in your addressbook 2. Compose a message to this person by typing in their name. Select the correct address with your mouse. 3. See that you can't verify that the correct one was chosen. Actual Results: Unable to verify that correct address was chosen until after e-mail is already sent Expected Results: Should be able to verify that correct address was chosen before e-mail is sent How often does this happen? Every time Additional Information:
