Description morten 2001-11-13 16:19:49 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Critical
Version: 0.99.1-snap.ximian.200111120857
Synopsis: Evolution relocation error
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous

Description:
When starting evolution 0.99.1-snap.ximian.200111120857 the splash
screen appears followed by the error

evolution: relocation error: /usr/lib/libevolution-importer.so.0:
undefined symbol: stat

at the command line. Then I have processes running for

    evolution-addressbook,
    evolution-mail,
    evolution-executive-summary,
    evolution-calendar and
    evolution-alarm-notify.

but nothing else happens. If these processes are already running (from a
previous crash) then the splash screen appears for a much shorter time.
I expect it detects that there is no need to restart them, but the same
problem occurs.

Known package problem. A fix is in the works.
