Description:
Downloaded the newest release candidate and am experiencing the same
problem as last week, with the application not coming up after the
splash screen has been displayed. 

The app encounters a relocation error: in the library
/usr/lib/libevolution-importer.so.0... undefined symbol:stat

within gdb I received a program exited code of 0177

All the while most of the background processes continued and it 
was necessary to kill them with the killev command....
