According to RedCarpet, everything is up to date in the following
channels:
Evolution Snapshot
Ximian GNOME Desktop
Red Hat Linux 7.2 (except nmap)
and GNOME 2.0 Developer Snapshots.

But I still can't load Evolution. I'm forced to revert to TWIG until
you guys fix this. :( Please let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Well, your use of GNOME 2.0 muddies the issue, but this has all the
hallmarks of bug 215190, which is pretty prevalent in the latest
snapshot.

Graham -- please run evolution from the command line and see if you
get a message about a relocation error. Add a comment to this bug
indicating what happened.
Comment 3 Graham Freeman 2001-11-13 19:01:01 UTC
Yup, I get a relocation error.

[graham@prescience graham]$ evolution
evolution: relocation error: /usr/lib/libevolution-importer.so.0:
undefined symbol: stat
