Description Dan Winship 2000-09-19 19:55:26 UTC
There needs to be a way to set the default contacts folder for an identity,
so when sending work mail you can pick from your corporate LDAP server,
and when sending personal mail, you can pick from your local db.

This sounds like a feature to me. Setting to Future.
Comment 2 aaron 2002-06-05 19:10:38 UTC
Is this the same as a settable default for if someone clicks the "To"
button, they don't have to select the Global Address List or their
LDAP server instead of the local folders every time?
Comment 3 Not Zed 2002-07-02 07:42:54 UTC
and/or is it the same as specifying a search path for autocompletion?
Comment 4 André Klapper 2004-09-27 17:00:37 UTC
in evolution-2.0 there are several addressbooks possible and one can
at least choose which address books are used for auto-completion in
the preferences - but this does not refer to the identities said in
the description of the bug, but it is indeed a "default contact folder
for composer" as the summary says. ?-| close?

Comment 6 Dan Winship 2007-08-17 00:29:42 UTC
Having it pick from all contact sources at once seems to work just fine for basically everyone.
