Description Yaron Tausky 2005-01-22 23:16:39 UTC
The notification area applet should allow the user to reorder the icons by
dragging them, just like any other list element.
Comment 1 Adam Guthrie 2006-07-09 01:09:27 UTC
Yaron, will you please explain why you marked this as OBSOLETE?
Comment 2 Yaron Tausky 2006-07-09 02:15:10 UTC
It was an enhancement requirement suggested by me a year and a half ago, and it didn't get any attention or interest. I thought I'd better close it, since having these "eternal bugs" isn't good for anyone.
I could reopen it, though, if there is any interest in it.
Comment 3 Michiel Holtkamp 2006-09-07 11:59:35 UTC
There is some interest in it, I would like to see a feature like this.

As a side note, I would also more happy if the notification area orders the icons in a predictable way (now everytime I log in, the order is different). The only reason I want to reorder the icons is because they are always in a different order.

Marking as dupe of bug #531282, since that one has a patch (despite being more recent).

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
