When I try to print to a generic PS printer (with "Location: lpr" setting):

-under Win98 a dialog box indicates that Printing failed
-under Win2000 an error message is printed on console as if lpr had been used
with wrong parameters; after that "WARNING **: Writing output pipe failed" is
printed twice.

Printing into file (PS and PDF) works.

Apparently fixed.
