GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 163046
nautilus desktop files should have startup-notification
Last modified: 2005-02-15 00:41:15 UTC
The following .desktop files don't have StartupNotify=true I'm sure someone can easily do the patch for the desktop file, however I don't know if nautilus actually supports startup notification. gnome-nautilus-computer.desktop gnome-nautilus.desktop gnome-nautilus-home.desktop
It appears that perhaps these have been renamed to remove the 'gnome-' prefix? Also, note that this breaks focus-stealing-prevention and results in nautilus windows not getting focus when they are shown. See bug 165148.

Created attachment 37447 [details] [review] Add "StartupNotify=true" to .desktop files Applying this patch will result in a stuck busy cursor since nautilus doesn't support startup notification as a launchee. So bug 166242 needs to be fixed as well; I'll add a half-baked patch there in a minute that partially adds such support.
Alex committed the patch, so I'm closing.
