GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 159394
rename cancelled when nautilus has background delete process
Last modified: 2005-02-12 13:40:35 UTC
1. Select a directory with enough files that delete will take a while 2. Go to a different directory and try to rename a file 3. The rename will be cancelled as if you hit ESC. It seems to coincide with every update of the progress dialog box of the background delete process.
Sorry, step 1 is not clear. Let's reword. 1. Go to a directory with enough files that deleting them all will take a while. Select all these files and hit DEL
