This appears to have been caused by running some old component out of my gnome 2.6 installation, possibly the gnome-vfs-daemon, but a few null checks should possibly be put in there :-) Hmm, and bug-buddy put this in control-center, I'm moving it to gnome-vfs, where the crash really occurs

Crispin, is hal support enabled in gnome-vfs? Ricardo, do you have hal installed, if yes, same question as for Crispin ;)
It doesn't look to be linked against hal to me.

Someone on #nautilus had this problem yesterday. I'm fairly sure it's caused entirely by having a gnome-vfs-daemon that's out of sync with libgnomevfs (in his case, he had an /opt/gnome2/ that bonobo-activation-server was starting gnome-vfs-daemon out of.) Does anyone have a counterexample?
Lowering priority since the only known example of that happening is when someone is running the 2.6 gnome-vfs-daemon with an app linked against gnome-vfs 2.7.
