Hi I would be greatful if you could add a feature to print the current selection.

Until such time as this may be implemented, you can use layers to at least
divide your objects into parts that can be printed separately.

It wouldn't actually be very difficult to implement, just change what the
printer renderer iterates over.  Not happening in the upcoming version.
