Description chris roddy 2004-05-04 11:37:53 UTC
I would like to have an option to adjust the length of the playback buffer, as I
often use Rhythmbox to play files which are on a samba share on another machine.
when my other machine is under heavy load, it cannot deliver data fast enough,
causing short dropouts in playback on the machine running Rhythmbox (even when
smbd and its associated processes are given priority -20 on both machines).
ideally, I would like to be able to set this as high as 2 to 5 seconds.
