GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 139606
Trying to change font crashes program
Last modified: 2004-04-11 09:22:38 UTC
Whenever I try to change the font for the text tool, it crashes as I scroll down the list. A command prompt window opens, but it closes before I can see. Always happens right after I scroll past Verdana Italic. Don't know what's after that.
This looks like a duplicate of bug #101856. Please tell us if the ugly workaround mentioned in bug #137550 (deleting the font cache before each execution of gimp) works for you. It could be also a duplicate of bug #120095 but it looks rather 101856ish.
Ok, I tried the solution for 137550, and it still crashed but left an error window. Based on it, the bug seems to be a duplicate of 101856. Here's a screenshot of the window: http://www.dognoodle99.cjb.net/images/gimp-bug.jpg
