GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 120095
Font Selector Crashes
Last modified: 2004-09-13 09:56:39 UTC
when using the font selector in Script-fu to pick a font for a logo script on scrolling beyond the fonts shown initially(sometimes a long way down) GIMP dies without a program error or GPF and the Script-fu main dialogue remains. the fonts i see initially in the selector aren't installed on my system as far as i know.
Seems to be Win32 specific and should probably be reassigned to pango or fontconfig.
Changing the component to General since the font selection dialog runs in the core, not in Script-Fu. It's the same list you get as a dockable in the GIMP application. I still think it should be reassigned to pango.
well, i would've thought that, but the problem only occurs when using the font selector from Script-fu, not the text tool, that reports my fonts perfectly.
What about the font selector in the Film plug-in (Filters->Combine->Film)? Does it crash as well?
it does crash, but after scrolling further down and it reports the correct fonts, which the other one fails to
I can't reproduce this on WinXP with a rather fresh (20030817) build created from CVS.
