Description Yasholomew Yashinski 2004-04-02 01:59:28 UTC
[0x80e5d58] [rb_shell_player_open_location] rb-shell-player.c:871 (20:48:41):
Opening http://66.250.32.195:8058...
This is the last entry in -d mode when it freezes, forcing a kill. I'm assuming
it depends on return code from the server, but haven't tested. This is not a
simple "opening vfs file $foo (File not found)". Several stations this occours
to, such as:
Radiostorm - ALTERNATIVE
Phatfirm - Radio HIPHOP
Radiostorm.com - HIPHIP R&B (all 3 instances)
The Blue Echo
[radio.wazee]

and several more I can provide.

Unlike the 'duplicate' this happens as soon as you hit "play", no chance to even
hit "stop" before the application freezes. It require a kill -9 to exit, the
clean exit prompt never happens.

Ok, I misparsed your bug.

I think those sites are just stale. Unfortunately right now we have no
infrastructure for upgrading the default list of stations (the URLs for sites
tend to change often).

That makes this a duplicate of bug 129285 and 128106. I'll just pick the first.
Thanks for the report though, it is definitely a problem.
