Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Mandrake Linux release 10.0 (Community) for i586 Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.4.1 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: MandrakeSoft Synopsis: Menu Bar shows menu on other screen of a dual head system Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: clock applet Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Description of Problem: I have a dual screensetup in X. I have My main monitor with the gnome-panel and the other which is to the right of the main. It looks like the Menu Bar will load it menu on whatever screen the mouse is in. Thus if i press alt+f1 when my mouse is on the secodn monitor, the menu will show up on the second monitor on the top left of the screen. This also happens when navigating the menu on the main screen and quickly moving you mouse down the menu then across to the other screen. The submenu shows up is the proper vertical positions but it is on the left of the second screen. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. move mouse to screen withoug the menubar 2. press alt+f1 Actual Results: Expected Results: I expect the menu to load on the same screen as the menubar. How often does this happen? It never does not happen. Its very easy to reproduce. Additional Information: I have a screenshot of the issue at http://www.envisionaryws.com/~difeta/menuissue.png ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2004-03-16 16:29 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, gnome-panel-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
