http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=188991 is requesting an
'always open with this program' option so that a single click will open
real player rather than showing the open/save dialog first.

It is likely that Galeon will only ever support at most 'Always open' and the
helper application is taken from GNOME preferences.  We are not planning to
rewrite the MIME database, which is where the selected application belongs to.
