GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 118564
Some applets do not have focus indication
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Using gnome-2.4 nightly build from July 22 2003. Solaris 9u4 - log in as normal or root user. - hit ctrl-alt-tab to focus the bottom panel. - press tab/shift-tab to cycle through the open windows(have a few open). . only a maximum of 3 items are focused and the rest are skipped. . left and right arrows do work however.
The behavior I see for build from July 29th is that ther is no focus indication for some applets on the bottom panel. Workspace Switcher, Window List, ShowDesktop Button. I also see this problem with Window Menu and Volume Control in top panel.
Makring AP1 to reflect a11y team's assessment of accessibility impact.

These symptoms are very similar to those in bug 86339. I am trying to figure out what is happening.

The problem is that gtk_socket_hierarchy_changed is not being called.

I think this is a duplicate of #118705 and fixed in HEAD libbonoboui - but I may be wrong; over to Federico ... Thanks.
Apologies for spam... marking as GNOMEVER2.3 so it appears on the official GNOME bug list :)
