Description Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2003-07-11 06:25:56 UTC
The address entry like every text entry needs a mnemonic activation label.
The label ought to be A_ddress: [1]. We should postpone this post 1.0
though due to the fact that favicon icon is not part of the text entry box
and this could create some ui aesthetic issues short term.

[1] As in IE. Also this will appease the I want alt+d to activate the text
entry crowd. Also food for thought, if we add this, is ctrl+l still needed
as a visible accelerator? I always though this as a hack do to the lack of
a label. Probably need to keep it for backwards compat no matter what though...

Mass reassigning of Epiphany bugs to epiphany-maint@b.g.o
Comment 2 Josh Lee 2004-10-16 22:18:45 UTC
The Ctrl+L shortcut is exposed in the go menu.
Comment 3 Christian Persch 2005-01-13 21:14:01 UTC
WONTFIX as discussed on irc.
Comment 4 spark 2005-01-13 21:25:44 UTC
For the record, we thought that adding this label wouldn't gain us much - we
would still need the ctrl+l shortcut and it's menu item for when the address bar
is hidden.
