Description shimyrsar 2003-04-13 07:18:27 UTC
This request, I have no idea how to implement, but I have to ask at least
-some- project to implement it...If you have many albums, I mean, a -lot-
of albums, simply presenting them as text can be very confusing. I feel
that there should be some option to present the album list as for example
cover images. An about 50x50 thumbnail of the album cover would be good. It
would be small enough to pose no greater impact on the performance, yet big
enough to make out actual details.
As I said, I have no idea how to implement this in an intellectual fashion.

This would only make sense when the images are downloaded
automatically like audio-informations from a freecddb server. Or do
you really want to create the images for each album on your own?

Note: Windows Media Player has such a function, but it probably won't
grant us access to their database...

The feature could be to display the picture if one is set as directory
album's picture in Nautilus.
