GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 1049
A screensaver option of 'blank' would be nice...
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
package: control-center severity: wishlist Hi. It would be very nice to be able to select a 'blank screen' scrensaver option that would simply black out the screen. My monitor will sense that the screen has gone black and will put itself into power-management mode. The 'blank' option could perhaps use the builtin screensaver function in xset (example: xset s 300). (I don't want to use the power management option in the control panel because that won't let me set the times for standby, suspend, off) -- Henrik ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-27 16:23 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 1049 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1049 Originally filed under the control-center product and general component.
