Hi. It would be very nice to be able to select a 'blank screen'
scrensaver option that would simply black out the screen. My monitor
will sense that the screen has gone black and will put itself into
power-management mode. The 'blank' option could perhaps use the builtin
screensaver function in xset (example: xset s 300).

(I don't want to use the power management option in the control panel
because that won't let me set the times for standby, suspend, off)
