Please describe the problem:
If you choose to enable the "home_is_desktop" option in nautilus (via gconf editor), your home folder appears twice in the GTK File chooser : one ase "home", the other as "desktop".

Note that both share the same "desktop" icon, at least under Ubuntu Gutsy

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to gconf-editor > nautilus > home_is_desktop
2. Open a Gtk file chooser
3. Profit (? maybe not this time ;-) )


Actual results:


Expected results:
only one home in the gtkfile chooser

Does this happen every time?

I don't think this feature is part of the XDG spec. Therefore the file chooser can't easily support it. Nautilus obviously doesn't have that requirement.

So for this either the spec needs to be enhanced or another platform independant approach must be found.
