Description greg 2001-09-10 01:18:27 UTC
When using the mouse (right menu) to create a new folder in a folder that is
using the manual layout, the new folder should appear directly under the mouse.
It instead appears at the end after the last icon.

* REPRODUCIBLE: Always

* STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Open a folder with several icons; move some of them around, switching on manual
layout if needed; right click in an empty area above some icons and choose "New
Folder"

* ACTUAL RESULTS:

 The new folder appears below / past all other icons.

* EXPECTED RESULTS:

  The new folder should appear where the mouse was right clicked.

Definitely something we talked about before and plan to do. I'm surprised there
was no bug report about this.

Different bug, but same theme as 7944 ("Pasted files do not appear near mouse
pointer")

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
