GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 455200
GtkCalendar and custom marks
Last modified: 2014-05-23 10:49:45 UTC
Currently the only way to mark days in GtkCalendar is "bolding" day numbers. It would be very handy to select day cell background/foreground color (simple ;-) and/or create custom marks by deriving the widget and get day positions (x,y) to draw custom shapes on top of it.
Yeah, I'm wrapping GtkCalendar for wxWidgets, and changing bg/fg colors of each day would be very useful. It's supported on other platforms in wxCalendarCtrl.
Similar request was made here [1]. Custom formatting can be used for various reasons: today, holidays, etc. [1] http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5763
