Description Michael Quinn 2005-09-15 13:40:18 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy

repro steps:
1. Go to "contacts"
2. Open the properties dialog for any existing contact
3. Click on "categories"
4. Add a few new categories/Remove a few existing ones
5. Close the categories dialog and the properties dialog
6. On the Filter drop-down, select "Category Is"
7. Click the drop-down menu used for selecting a category

Results:
Your category changes are not displayed

Expected:
Your additional categories should be displayed, and any removed categories
should not.

Note:
If you close and open evolution, it displays the proper category list.

The "Filter drop-down" actually is named "Quick Search drop-down. Adjusting the summary.
Comment 4 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-03-27 18:13:04 UTC
This is the same for Calendar and Tasks. Adjusting Component.

Raising Priority die to diplicates. This is a pretty much user visible issue and really confusing to say the least.

Please note a funny comment I removed: /* TODO Why doesn't this work?? */
It seems fine as I tested it.
Comment 9 Srinivasa Ragavan 2008-04-30 05:55:56 UTC
Milan the design seems fine. Nice work to avoid ABI breaks :)

I haven't tested it, just test and commit.
