Reproducable:
- start pan, load a group, type a find filter. by default, only the new
posts are shown.
- press 'Match only new articles' button: nothing happens.
- repeat until bored
- use the menu: filter -> deselect 'Match new articles' : it works
- use button, it works again, until a new group is loaded

maybe this is another layout bug, so my layout is:
2nd pane layout, 3rd pane order.
