Description Phil Harper 2003-08-17 19:59:59 UTC
when using the font selector in Script-fu to pick a font for a logo script
on scrolling beyond the fonts shown initially(sometimes a long way down)
GIMP dies without a program error or GPF and the Script-fu main dialogue
remains.

the fonts i see initially in the selector aren't installed on my system as
far as i know.
Comment 1 Sven Neumann 2003-08-17 20:29:11 UTC
Seems to be Win32 specific and should probably be reassigned to pango
or fontconfig.
Comment 2 Sven Neumann 2003-08-17 20:32:38 UTC
Changing the component to General since the font selection dialog runs
in the core, not in Script-Fu. It's the same list you get as a
dockable in the GIMP application. I still think it should be
reassigned to pango.
Comment 3 Phil Harper 2003-08-17 20:57:38 UTC
well, i would've thought that, but the problem only occurs when using
the font selector from Script-fu, not the text tool, that reports my
fonts perfectly.
Comment 4 Sven Neumann 2003-08-17 21:02:25 UTC
What about the font selector in the Film plug-in
(Filters->Combine->Film)? Does it crash as well?
Comment 5 Phil Harper 2003-08-17 21:27:16 UTC
it does crash, but after scrolling further down and it reports the
correct fonts, which the other one fails to
Comment 6 Michael Schumacher 2003-08-18 21:52:26 UTC
I can't reproduce this on WinXP with a rather fresh (20030817) build
created from CVS.
