Description Ray Strode [halfline] 2012-09-14 15:51:22 UTC
Often times when reviewing bugs, I'll have little comments that don't merit another round of review (like "fix the spacing here").

For these cases I throw the status to accepted-commit_now but that's not ideal since it means the fix ups can fall through the cracks. The alternative is is to use "reviewed" but that's not ideal either since it gets mixed in with less "ripe" patches and means the patches might not get noticed around release time when going through accepted-commit-now patches.

Ideally we'd have a accepted-commit_after_tweaks or so status.

My personal opinion is that we should get rid of "reviewed". I don't understand its meaning - either it's rejected, or needs-work, or is accepted.

one thing going for "reviewed" is it's somewhat less "pretentious". I mean people can contribute to a project by doing patch review even if they don't feel comfortable giving the final rubber stamp.

I am against this as I expressed already in bug 720605.

After https://wiki.gnome.org/Initiatives/DevelopmentInfrastructure , GNOME is moving its task tracking from Bugzilla to GitLab at https://gitlab.gnome.org/ as previously announced in https://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2018-May/msg00026.html . See https://wiki.gnome.org/GitLab for more information.

Hence closing this ticket as WONTFIX: There are no plans to work on Bugzilla.
