Description Bastien Nocera 2014-09-01 14:33:30 UTC
After reading:
http://160.twinql.com/humane-code-review/
I think that we should rename the "needs-work" patch status to something more positive, and less disheartening for contributors.

"feedback-given" is an alternative which I quite like.

IMHO, "feedback-given" is as confusing as the currently existing "reviewed" as it doesn't imply any required followup action. "I looked at the patch but you still need to read the comments to find out about my opinion", kind of.

Personally I'd prefer to kill our custom overengineered patch statuses because they are one of those issues that block migrating to a recent BZ, AFAIK.

Looks like this is also discussed in https://mail.gnome.org/archives/engagement-list/2014-September/msg00000.html

Comment 4 André Klapper 2018-06-16 13:28:16 UTC
After https://wiki.gnome.org/Initiatives/DevelopmentInfrastructure , GNOME is moving its task tracking from Bugzilla to GitLab at https://gitlab.gnome.org/ as previously announced in https://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2018-May/msg00026.html . See https://wiki.gnome.org/GitLab for more information.

Hence closing this ticket as WONTFIX: There are no plans to work on Bugzilla.
