GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 94455
Clicking on the page makes the page scroll
Last modified: 2011-02-14 13:06:54 UTC
1. Go to http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/gdk/gdk-windows.html 2. Click on the first link 'GdkWindowAttr' 3. Click the back button in the toolbar 4. Click on some empty area on the page It seems that the page is scrolled so that the #GDKWINDOWATTR anchor is at the bottom of the page. May or may not be related to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93118
is this reproducable with mozilla ?
No, not reproducible in mozilla. In mozilla it works as excpected, ie. the page doesn't scroll anywhere.
Yeah. I'd not be surprised if it's another focus problem. We need to repro with TestGtkEmbed.
TestGtkEmbed has no such problem.
I'm not able to reproduce this anymore.
This still sometimes occurs. It only sometimes happens though, so a single test isn't sufficient. It seems to matter whether you have multiple tabs open.
Hard to say, the number of tabs doesn't seem to have any effect here, it's always broken.
Yeah, I've experienced that it sometimes doesn't happen for me with multiple tabs and sometimes does with a single tab.

I can reproduce this in TestGtkEmbed if after clicking back you click in the location bar and then back onto the embed. It think this is probably the same as bug 93118
New steps to repro: 1. Go to http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/gdk/gdk-windows.html 2. Click on the first link 'GdkWindowAttr' 3. Click in the location entry 4. Click the back button in the toolbar 5. Click on some empty area on the page
