See bug 79326 for example. You really want to be able to query which label 
labels a widget so you can set up the labelled-for ATK property, and 
for example have a util function that sets the widget's label insensitive
along with the widget itself.

Putting on 2.4 because it's hard / messy.

If we add the idea of the mnemnonic label to the GTK+ core,
as this would require, we might want to even implement
the make-mnemonic-label-insensitive feature by default.

Just pointing out this bug, and adding the accessibility keyword. This
is really important for automagic a11y support (which is important so
that hackers aren't roused on by billh for not having sweet sweet a11y
support):

This is very similar to bug #103456. Should this be closed as a
duplicate as bug #103456 has a patch.

I have attached a recent patch to bug 72249 which attempts to solve
the problem in GAIL for the simple cases, i.e. all cases I have seen
so far.
