Need a way to open a new window/tab with a specific profile, 
required to make an "mc" or "ssh foobar" profile useful, so 
kind of a showstopper.

Is this really 2.0.0 material, Havoc? If so, please tag with the
keyword. Smells a lot like enhancement to me, though.

This one is already fixed, modulo some bugs in it that are filed
separately.
