Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-03-08 22:03:55 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/bugs/85332

"Issue: Gnome's "Places" menu stays visible after right-clicking on the desktop.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click on the Places menu;
2. Right-click somewhere on the desktop;

The context menu of the "Menu Bar" appears, instead of the Places menu disappearance. After that, the Places menu stays visible until the mouse gets over Applications or System.

This bug was reproduced on two Edgy machines and one Dapper machine."

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
