GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 331710
Color scheme adjustment (hig)
Last modified: 2006-02-19 11:36:03 UTC
the color scheme of gnome-power-manager is quite bright and grabs attention perhaps more than it aims to. For myself I adjusted it with: for each in /usr/share/gnome-power-manager/*.png do mogrify -modulate 75,50,85 $each done This adjustment brings the color scheme closer to the suggeste hig palette as seen at http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/1.0/layout.html#Palette Hope this helps
Can you please post a screenshot of the new icons please.

Richard, The current icons are for bluecurve, right? I think changing those is not a good idea. What about opening a new bug asking for gnomey icons and assign that bug to jimmac? Then we can use those and the RH people can add the current icons to the RH artwork package
I think we need to sort out the icons. Should we wait for the tango stuff to happen before asking for new icons? I don't think mogrifying the current icons would make people happy, but we do need to be able to theme g-p-m.
I propose to just ask for icons now and see what happens.
Sure, go for it, it can't hurt. Please link to any new bugzilla. Thanks.
