Description sherw 2002-11-23 00:36:11 UTC
Nautilus should automatically scroll the window when you are dragging a
file and you reach the border of it, allowing to drop it in a folder that
is initially out of the viewport.

When submitting bugs (and especially when submitting a bunch of things
all at once), please spend the time to search for duplicates first. In
particular, there are a couple of dups of this problem, which isn't
even totally a problem as the window does indeed scroll, but the area
that triggers this is very small, which makes people believe there is
indeed a problem. Anyways, as always, thanks for the bug (and the
interest in helping out nautilus), but we'd appreciate it even more if
you continued the discussion on existing bugs, rather than submitting
new ones.

You are right, I'm very sorry.

BTW I can't find that bug :-( (my fault) can you tell me the number?
Comment 3 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-11-23 14:26:24 UTC
Found the dupe. This feature is actually implemented, the main issue
imo is that the delay before a scroll begins in t he icon view is too
long.
