Description sherw 2002-11-23 00:17:24 UTC
Nautilus should shorten long filenames with equal size for each filename.
The icons should be aligned.
Comment 1 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-11-23 13:58:17 UTC
elipsizing long file names is another but, but since we now have
really nice grid layout and label wrapping in nautilus 2.2 i'm marking
this notabug.
Comment 2 sherw 2003-12-09 02:40:11 UTC
I don't consider this fixed.

Try touch `perl -e 'print "A"'x20`, it takes half the screen, stealing
space from other icons. This is ridiculous IMHO.
