Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: minor Version: 2.0.9 Synopsis: Context menu shows up in wrong place in window list Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Window List Applet Description: Description of Problem: When the window list members are each very wide (e.g. there are only a few windows open and the window list is very wide), when you right-click a window list member, the context menu shows up left-aligned to the item you right-clicked, no matter where the mouse was located. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Make the window list wide enough so the list items are each pretty wide 2. Move mouse somewhere on the right side of some list item, and right click Actual Results: The context menu appears just above the item, and it's horizontal position is left aligned to the item Expected Results: The menu should have appeared near the mouse pointer. How often does this happen? every time Additional Information: ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-11-18 15:36 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, gnome-panel-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
This actually happens regardless of how "wide" an individual task is, as far as I can tell. It's just less noticable when the tasks are narrower.
Sure, it happens all the time. Only becomes noticeable when items are wide enough.
