Description Andrew Sobala 2002-11-18 19:11:15 UTC
UI Review:

No-one doing the UI review knew what a "Service" is. Neither do I. Maybe
some UI re-juggling is required to make this more obvious.

IMHO, the whole Internet Services is badly placed. Protocols simply
are not File types; any protocol can basically transport any file type.

Even though I quite well knew the 'mailto' protocol, I had real
trouble finding the right capplet to configure it with. (Actually I
just used gconftool directly because I couldn't.)

Considering the contents of 'Preferred Applications' capplet, that's
where I would've expected to find mail handler as well.

My comments are based on gnome 2.0, apologies if they're no longer
relevant.

Moving out of 2.1.x, too major at this time to get through freezes.

Rocking this is closed since the dialog is toast!
