[AUDIOCD] crash on startup- if device is not CD drive
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: rhythmbox Severity: critical Version: GNOME2.1.2 0.4.0.99 Synopsis: crash on startup- possible problem if there is no CD drive? Bugzilla-Product: rhythmbox Bugzilla-Component: General BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.1.2) Description: Description of Problem: I get a crash on startup with latest CVS; trace attached. This is my first attempt to build the latest monkey-media and do the CD stuff. I've got no CD drive on this laptop; I'm not sure if that is relevant- might be the cause? I might try to build it on a machine with a CD on Sunday to see if it works :) Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/rhythmbox' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 18974)] [New Thread 2049 (LWP 18975)] [New Thread 1026 (LWP 18976)] [New Thread 2051 (LWP 18977)] 0x409754d9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6

Yah, so, I plugged in the CD drive and no crash on startup (other problems, though.) So re-titling.
Accepting bug and assigning to myself. Will look into this post 0.5.0 release. -harshy
Decreasing severity to enhancement and merging with the main audiocd bug; audiocd stuff will come post 0.5.0. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 110928 ***
